Coles Liquor’s trading banner, First Choice Liquor Market has launched their biggest ever campaign after being named Canstar Blue's Best Liquor Retailer in Australia this year.

Given a five-star rating across all categories, including checkout experience, customer service, store layout and presentation, deals and specials available and overall satisfaction, First Choice has vowed to continue as Aussies' first choice in a new campaign launched this week.

Mia Lloyd, General Manager of Customer & Loyalty at Coles Liquor, said it is an honour to be recognised as the liquor retailer with the most satisfied customers. 

"To be voted the country's best liquor retailer is testament to our team members, and we want to thank our customers for making us their first choice.

"We've worked hard to make sure we offer excellent value and expert advice, so we're proud to be the only liquor retailer to receive five stars for overall satisfaction, customer service, checkout experience and our offer on deals and specials," she said. 

Developed in partnership with Bashful Creative Agency, the 'That's Why We're Your First Choice' campaign champions First Choice Liquor Market's friendly in-store team members and highlights the vast range available to customers. 

Guy Marshall, Strategy Partner at Bashful Creative Agency, said all parties agreed the campaign should use the five-star rating from Canstar Blue to hero the true stars of First Choice Liquor Market nationwide.

"We featured real team members such as Kim Craig from the Mango Hill First Choice Liquor Market in Queensland, and Adam Round, from the Mornington store in Victoria," said Marshall. "First Choice Liquor Market is always looking for new ways to delight and inspire customers, and this campaign captures the brand's strong offering and down-to-earth approach." 

To celebrate the launch, First Choice Liquor Market has partnered with Triple M in Queensland to run an on-air competition along with in-store activations in Maroochydore on August 25, Cairns on September 2, Morayfield on August 31, Runaway Bay on September 1, finishing in Kenmore on September 9.

Canstar Blue's 5-Star Ratings for Most Satisfied Customers awarded Dan Murphy's, Celebrations, Aldi, BWS and Liquorland four stars for overall satisfaction, with The Bottle-O and Thirsty Camel garnering three stars each.
