Australian craft gin producer, Four Pillars joins Lotte Duty-Free to launch a Pop Up Tasting Bar and Gin Shop for June and July at Melbourne International Airport.
From 6 June to 31 July international jet setters can indulge at a Distillery-inspired Tasting Bar serving complimentary G&Ts and neat tastings of Four Pillar gins including the Rare Dry Gin, the Bloody Shiraz Gin, and the Japanese-inspired Fresh Yuzu Gin. Who needs an airline lounge?
Large format digital screens will surround the space, and the shelves of the pop-up Gin Shop will offer a range of limited-edition 700mL Four Pillars gins including Rare Old Tom Gin and Afloat Pink Gin, alongside the popular one-litre signature range.
Merchandise that is usually exclusive to the Four Pillars homes in Healesville and Sydney’s Surry Hills, including socks (Martini or Negroni? Your choice.) and a range of t-shirts, will be available to purchase.
“We are so pleased to work with the team at Lotte Duty-Free to bring such an enjoyable, craft experience to both locals starting their holiday, and international travellers bidding farewell to Australia,” said David Hogan, Four Pillars GTR and International Sales Director.
Lotte Duty-Free was announced as the winner of the Melbourne Airport tender in early 2023 and this partnership with Four Pillars Gin will mark the company’s first activation since they took over on 1 June.
The Melbourne Airport activation marks the biggest partnership between Four Pillars and Lotte Duty Free to date.
Lotte Duty-Free Oceania CEO, Steve Timms said: “Lotte is a close partner of Four Pillars and we are excited to be activating this engaging pop-up in partnership with Four Pillars and Melbourne Airport. We look forward to great future success together.’
