Farm Hand Organic Wine, part of the Fourth Wave Wine portfolio, is launching an innovative ‘Win a Farm Stay' consumer promotion to help reignite regional tourism and the economies of these communities.

“We have teamed up with a range of diverse Farm Stays across Australia to offer six fully catered holidays including accommodation, transfers and meals with the consumer promotion running nationally through participating retailers.

"We are also supporting local food producers with runners’ up prizes of gourmet produce hampers. It’s very pleasing to be able to support communities that, like many, could use a hand. As a wine producer, regional Australia is very important for us, as are our customers,” said Ross Marshall, General Manager, Fourth Wave Wine.

This latest initiative is part of the ongoing support of Farm Hand Wine for Australian farmers. Farm Hand Wines are grown by the Grigoriou family, fourth generation wine growers, from almost one hundred acres of organic vineyards in South Australia's Monash Valley and is a proud sponsor of Carbon8, Australia’s only farmer led charity which provides education, community engagement and services - helping farmers transition to regenerative agriculture.

Mr Marshall explained that the more demand there is from everyday Australians for organic, the more farmers will transition to regenerative agriculture.

"This equals more carbon in the soil, which in turn means better food and a better environment for all,” he said.

The fertile soil on Farm Hand Wines' vineyards is perfectly suited to organic viticulture and the well-established vines, which are up to thirty years old, are planted wide apart to allow for good airflow and to minimise disease pressure. Minimal drip-irrigation ensures low yielding fruit with rich flavours and varietal expressiveness.

“With the helping hand of Farm Hand Wines, we are paving the way for the future regeneration of our farms and of our farming communities,” said Helen McCosker, Co-founder and Director, Carbon8.

To take part in the Farm Stay promotion, consumers purchase a bottle of Farm Hand, scan the QR code on the neck tag and they are given a unique key in which they try to unlock the Farm Hand farmgate. If their key unlocks the gate, they can either win a luxe eco hamper, twin pack of Farm Hand wines, or be in the running to win 1 of 6 Farm Stays around Australia.

The Farm Stay competition is runs until 9 November meaning there is plenty of time for trade to order stock and support the promotion in-store.
