Celebrating its 170th birthday, London brewer Fuller’s has released a limited edition Anniversary Ale.

Anniversary Ale is a seven per cent bottle-conditioned (will mature with age in the bottle) beer produced using Fuller’s trademark yeast to create a beer packed with those citrus notes the brewery is often recognised for, with added orange peel at the end.

Head Brewer John Keeling says: “170 years is a milestone for any business – and as a brewery, the only way to celebrate is with a new beer. There is not much in life that is better than a beautifully crafted bottle-conditioned beer enjoyed with a good cheese board and great company. 170th Anniversary Celebration Ale is a must add for any beer connoisseur’s collection.”

The beer comes in a commemorative box, featuring the gates of the famous Griffin Brewery.
