Future Leaders is in search of its next 15 applicants to join its development program.

Funded and coordinated by the Australian Grape and Wine Authority (AGWA), applicants should be from the grape and wine sector, who are early- to mid-career, and who are already demonstrating leadership potential.

If successful, candidates will enter the six-month program, commencing in June. Applicants will take part in four face-to-face sessions across the country, the program aiming to develop individuals’ leadership skills, extend their knowledge of the sector and foster collaborative partnerships.

In its history, Future Leaders has introduced 75 alumni to its program. Future Leaders 2006 alumnus, Matt Fowles, says the program opened many doors and created a network of industry colleagues and close friends for him.

“Future Leaders was a great opportunity to glean an insight into Australian wine sector leadership - the history, the structures, the people, and how they all interrelate”, Matt explained.

“I understood more about effective leadership for the sector and developed greater skills and knowledge for my own businesses.”

Applications are open between now, until Friday 13, March 2015. To submit an application or for more information visit www.futureleaders15.com.
