Naked Malt, formerly known as Naked Grouse, continues its strategy to grab the attention of a new generation of whisky drinkers with its Live Naked promotion.
The brand is running a promotion until June giving Australians the chance to go off the grid and experience the ultimate staycation within some of Australia’s most iconic destinations.
Naked Malt is a Blended Malt whisky produced in Scotland by ultra-premium spirits company The Edrington Group. It initially launched as a blended Scotch under the name Naked Grouse in 2011 before relaunching as a Blended Malt in 2017 in alignment with the burgeoning popularity of contemporary whiskies.
Naked Malt extra-mature their whisky in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The casks are called ‘Naked’ casks because it’s the first time they’ve held whisky. Four times the value of the bourbon casks used by competitive brands, these first-fill sherry casks give Naked Malt a balance of sweetness and rich, fruity character.
Each bottle features the signature of Naked Malt Master Blender, Diane Stuart who says, "I love that we look at things differently and give people the freedom to do things their way, without the constraints of conventional thinking. We don’t ask you to know anything about whisky but equally, we will teach you if you want to know. Naked doesn’t ask you to be anyone you’re not, or drink your whisky in any way that isn’t how you want to drink it."
In Australia, Naked Malt is distributed by Spirits Platform and the team continue to see the popularity of the brand grow along with the contemporary whisky category which is showing solid double-digit growth from year to year.
Live Naked Promotion
Consumers just need to purchase a bottle of Naked Malt from leading independent stores nationally, to receive a unique code to then answer a quiz and uncover their ultimate ‘Live Naked’ experience. Whether they prefer an ‘active’, ‘creative' or ‘relaxed’ style of getaway, the lucky winner’s staycation will be tailored to their personality and the winner will receive a personalised adventure they will never forget.
Naked Malt is offering a trip of a lifetime to one of three iconic locations around Australia including a five star experience at picturesque Uluru, a unique stay in the majestic Hunter Valley and a stunning architectural marvel on the South Coast. The winner can take three friends along with them on the adventure.
