Four Pillars has announced the release of the new Navy Strength and Ginger, a higher-than-normal ABV cocktail-in-a-can modelled on a Ginger Mule.
The refreshing spring cocktail is made with Four Pillars’ highly concentrated, award-winning Navy Strength Gin and a specially made ginger beer mixer and makes the fourth edition to their RTD lineup.
Riffing off the finer lime and ginger flavours distilled into the Navy Strength Gin, Cameron Mackenzie, Co-Founder of Four Pillars, has been working on the recipe since 2020, when Four Pillars started exploring the possibility of making ready-to-drink canned cocktails.
To distil the hyper-concentrated Navy Strength Gin used in the drink, Mackenzie increased the botanical load to include more impactful flavours like ginger, turmeric, and finger limes, which adds some extra zing while ensuring none of the classic botanical flavours are lost with the addition of the mixer.
The ginger beer mixer was crafted in-house, using fresh ginger and lime juice to create a fresh cocktail with a hit of ginger spice and bright citrus.
Four Pillars Navy Strength & Ginger tins will hit shelves in September.
