Hard Fizz has released a 6 per cent ABV alcoholic soda RTD called Extra Strength as it expands its lineup heading into the Australian summer.
Wade Tiller, CEO of Hard Fizz, said the new release is about giving consumers additional options, “some occasions absolutely call for a harder drink,” he said.
“Hard Fizz has always been about ‘crew,’ and Extra Strength ensures no one’s left out. This is a range we’ve been working on for a while behind the scenes so we’re very excited to finally release it,” he adds.
This new release comes only months after Hard Fizz signed on with SouthTrade International, Australia’s fastest-growing spirit and RTD business, who will look after customer trading, trade marketing, supply and logistics for the Extra Strength rollout.
Each can contains 1.6 standard drinks and will be available in four flavours, Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Grape and Cola, free of artificial sweeteners, including stevia and erythritol.
Extra Strength will launch initially with the Raspberry flavour in more than 2000 outlets nationally, including BWS, Dan Murphys, Cellarbrations, Bottle-O, IGA Liquor, as well as a mixed 10-pack in Liquorland and First Choice Liquor.
“I love the taste myself and I think it really hits the spot with that slightly harder 6per cent ABV so I expect there’ll be a strong demand for it,” said Tiller.
Coming with an inverted can design with an eye-catching black trim, Extra Strength is low in sugar with a full, bold flavour while also being gluten-free and vegan-friendly, delivering a natural taste using real fruit juice concentrate.
