Hellyers Road, Tasmania’s largest single malt whisky distillery , has lured industry heavyweight Andy Bower as its new General Manager.

Andy’s appointment to the North West Coast company opens an exciting new era for Hellyer’s Road Distillery as it grows its local, national and global markets. 

With a long career in the beverage alcohol industry in Australia and across the globe, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the role, having held senior executive positions including Sales Director at Brown-Forman, Global Sales Manager at Casella Wines, General Manager NSW at CCA and Executive General Manager at Metcash.

Andy will be taking the helm at a time of growth for the renowned whisky company and recognises a number of unique opportunities to develop the business.

The superb quality of the whiskies speak for themselves, and I am very impressed with the Hellyers Road team and in awe of what they have achieved. The distillery and visitor centre are first class and I am very excited to join Hellyers Road as it continues its journey,” said Andy.
