15 lucky fans were taken through an exclusive tasting of the Henkell range (currently not available in Australia) with Henkell’s Export Director, Klaus Kuerten, and were also given a special gift at the end of the night.
Gina Lednyak, Managing Director and Chief Social Media Strategist at McWilliam’s Wines’ social media specialist L&A Social Media, said the event provided a perfect opportunity to “bridge the gap between the digital community and real life Henkell fans and consumers”.
While Mr. Kuerten said: “Henkell always wants to be close to consumers, because it’s consumers that are buying our product, so it’s important to get to know them.”
Mr. Kuerten also said that the event enabled the brand to understand how Henkell resonates with Australian consumers and look for new opportunities in the Australian market.
“To do a tasting with Henkell fans gives me reassurance of the quality of our product and the acceptance of the product.
“We have invested time and money into research and development for our new look Henkell bottles and now I’m doing my own personal research for different flavours of Henkell; to see whether there is an opportunity to introduce more SKUs to the Australian market.”
