The Australian distribution of HINE Cognac has moved from Proximo Australia (island2island) to Vanguard Luxury Brands.

Vanguard’s owner and founder, James France commented:  “island2island has done an excellent job with HINE in the Australian market. We thank their entire team for their great work on this unique brand and also for being so helpful in the transition over to Vanguard. We look forward to picking up where island2island left off, and to working with our network of bartender and retailer friends to continue HINE’s growth in Australia.”

Proximo Australia Managing Director, Justin Casey, added: “It has been a pleasure to distribute HINE in this market. Over the years, we have seen a growing appetite for cognac and cognac cocktails and the HINE brand is now well established in this market. We wish HINE and Vanguard all the very best for the future.”

The House of HINE is 250 years old, making it one of the oldest Cognac companies still in existence. Since 1763, HINE Cognacs have been highly regarded for their quality and elegance, from the entry level H by HINE to the exceptional cuvee Talent. HINE’s signature is its single vintages, matured in the United Kingdom. HINE owns and uses only stock from Grand & Petite Champagne regions, the premiere growth region in Cognac. It is the only cognac with a Royal Warrant and is the only cognac served in the Royal Household.
