As one of Australia's leading, award-winning media companies, we specialise in the drinks industry with nine print publications and four websites reaching an audience across 14 countries.
We have a close team within a small-medium sized publishing house and are looking for someone to join our sales team who will fit in well with our exciting company culture.
Ideally, we are looking for an ambitious individual with a background in the alcohol or hospitality industry. A minimum of two years sales experience is essential, and any drinks connections you can bring to the role are beneficial (but not essential).
As the successful applicant, you'll be working across some of Australia's biggest trade titles and exciting consumer media platforms.
This could be your chance to move from behind the bar, to behind the scenes!
Key roles:
- Print & digital advertising sales
- Managing accounts nationwide
- Aiding clients' marketing objectives through advertising and media strategies
- New business development; can't be afraid to cold call
- Attending alcohol-related events, product launches & tastings, whilst professionally representing the company and networking
- Regular reporting to National Sales Manager
About you:
- Good presentation skills and outgoing personality
- Good networking skills & must be able to work well in a team
- Proven track record in hitting targets and KPI's
- Two years sales experience preferred
- Base level drinks industry experience/knowledge
- Digital sales knowledge is a big plus (but not essential)
- Any experience with media platforms or media sales would be advantageous
Competitive base salary + bonus for the suitable candidate. OTE will reach $80,000+. The sky is the limit.
