The Awards were created to promote the growth of premium beverage representation and consumption while inspiring service professionals to continue to build on their standards and knowledge, with recognition given to the representation of not only all wines but also aperitifs, digestifs and beers.

Entries will once again be judged by our panel of impartial, highly qualified wine experts. They will assess each list based on the quality of the wines, the balance of choice, the design and presentation of the list, and the suitability of the wines to the style of cuisine.

As well as being in the running for overall winner and state and territory awards, there are several categories that offer you a chance to win an award, including Best City Restaurant List, Best Country Restaurant List, Best Hotel Restaurant List, Best Wine Bar List, Best Pub Restaurant List, Best Club Restaurant List, Best New List, Best Listing of a Region’s Wines, Best Small List (50 wines), Best Small List (100 wines), Best Food and Wine Matching, Best List of Wines by the Glass, Best Listing of Australian Wines, Best Beer List, Best Aperitif List and Best Digestif List.

Entering the awards is an easy process! You only need to supply PDFs of your wine list, your menu and one photo of your venue. The cost to enter is only $165 (including GST) and for this, you will receive a glass rating, a certificate and a review, which will be posted on our exciting new website for 12 months.

Entries close tomorrow night, Friday March 10 so don’t delay. Enter via winelistoftheyear.com.au

Good luck!
