To honour Sinatra’s birthday, Jack Daniel’s is releasing two incredibly exclusive expressions through Brown-Forman in Australia.
Both have been matured in propriety American oak “Sinatra” barrels - hand selected by Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller, Jeff Arnett - and are incredibly rare and exquisite whiskies.
Only 900 bottles of Sinatra Century will be released - the most anticipated expression of the two releases – and will never be released again. This 100 proof Tennessee whiskey is the ultimate collector’s item, retailing for $1,000, and comes with a complimentary recording of a previously unreleased recording of Frank performing live at the Sands in Las Vegas, in 1966. The lacquered, ‘grand piano’ style carry case also comes with a custom clip and a specially created book, celebrating 100 years of Ol' Blue Eyes. The flavour profile - bold and smooth, and full of character. Layers of oak, caramel and smoke, beautifully balanced with hints of butterscotch, cinnamon and brown sugar.
Made from the same deep grooved, handcrafted charred oak barrels as Sinatra Century, Sinatra Select too has a distinct flavour, reminiscent of the relationship between Frank and Jack Daniel's. By using such barrels, the whiskey is exposed to unprecedented levels of toasted oak, caramel and smoke. Retailing for $280, Sinatra Select is perfectly balanced, with layers of butterscotch, cinnamon and brown sugar, finishing with overtones of tobacco and baking spice.
