For the first time in seven years, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Master Distiller, Chris Fletcher, returns to Australia to celebrate World Whiskey Day on May 20.
Attending events in Sydney and Melbourne, Fletcher will be in the country from May 17 - 21 to launch Jack Daniel's first super-premium release in 25 years, Jack Daniel's Bonded.
Fletcher will meet the public, industry Whiskey buffs and the media at three events designed to build anticipation for the new launch.
The first event, The Sound of Bonded, will be held at Hickson House in Sydney's Dawes Point on May 18. An Australian-first, the tasting will harness the power of music to bring out the bold flavours of Jack Daniel's Bonded.
Accompanied by String Musicians Australia, the event will be hosted by Fletcher and Prof. Charles Spence, an industry-leading multi-sensory academic.
The second event on May 19, Tales from Lynchburg, will also be held in Sydney at the Bella Vista Hotel, accompanied by lunch and the chance to hear stories from the Jack Danie's distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
The final event in Melbourne falls on World Whisk(e)y Day and will be held at the Railway Hotel in Windsor. The event will be a tasting of Jack Daniel's portfolio, light canapes, and the chance to tap into Fletcher's distilling expertise.
