Jacob's Creek is the official wine of choice for MasterChef Australia 2020 for the third consecutive year.
The partnership sees a broader range of Jacobs Creek's premium wines included in the show's pantry. Jacob's Creek Double Barrel, Jacob's Creek Barossa Signature and Jacob's Creek Le Petit Rosé are the main wines featured throughout episodes.
The wine range will be available for contestants and guest chefs to use during challenges and MasterClasses.
It's a big season for both the show and Jacob's Creek - the new all-stars version, which premiered on Ten this week, had an average metro audience of 1.228 million metro viewers. With the addition of regional viewers, this climbed to 1.562 million.
The launch is 71.7% up on last year’s launch figure of 715,000 metro viewers.
Eric Thomson, Global Marketing Director Pernod Ricard Winemakers said: “We pride ourselves on bringing people together and helping consumers enjoy entertaining, combining our wine and delicious food. Now more than ever, foodies across the country are looking for at-home inspiration, and we’re delighted to be teaming up with our friends at MasterChef Australia again, to give home-cooks across the country confidence.
“From our lighter style whites and our award-winning rosé to our unique red wines finished in aged whisky barrels – our diverse range offers a wine for everyone and every dish, which viewers will see for themselves this season and can then replicate at home.”
ViacomCBS and Network 10 chief sales officer Rod Prosser said: “We are thrilled Jacob's Creek has returned as the official wine partner of MasterChef Australia for the third time. There are natural synergies between our brands and we have really enjoyed collaborating with the team on this thoughtful and innovative partnership, ensuring a positive sponsorship experience that consistently delivers results.”
