K.BOOCH has announced it is partnering with Founders First to boost its alcoholic kombucha brand.

Founders First invests in early and mid-stage brewery and distillery businesses. In the past month it has also partnered with Ballistic Beer and Slipstream Brewing Co to aid their expansion.

On completion of the investment, Founders First will provide additional capital to bolster the brand's marketing program.

The investment will enable K.BOOCH to increase its presence at key music festivals to drive trial and build brand awareness, also working with retailers via their key marketing programs to build the category presence here within Australia.

K.Booch Founder Nick Cogger said there are significant benefits from the partnership with Founders First.

“Aligning with a strategic partner like Founders First, enables us to access the resources and additional expertise to take advantage of being one of the first entrants in alcoholic kombucha,” he said.

“The partnership enables us to execute our growth plan, faster and at a greater scale than we could have on our own.

“Alcoholic kombucha is moving at a rapid pace in the US, so this partnership enables us to actively build the category here in Australia.

“We have seen huge growth rates in the US, where alcoholic kombucha has become more mainstream, and we are seeing strong evidence that this will be replicated within the Australian marketplace.

“Like me, the team at founders are entrepreneurs, they get the fact that to innovate you need to move quick and invest ahead of the curve, that’s what we are focused on doing.”

K.BOOCH is already available in over 600 retailers nationwide with plans to actively extend that in the short term.
