Kaddy Marketplace has announced a partnership with leading Singapore-based food and beverage investment company, Lecca, to re-launch an overhauled business initiative known as Kaddy Reborn.

The announcement comes after Kaddy Marketplaces' parent company Kaddy entered voluntary administration earlier this month. Steve Voorma, CEO of Kaddy Limited and Lecca, will lead Kaddy Reborn.

Offering a simpler business model with a broader range of products, more competitive pricing, improved features for suppliers and customers, and a refreshed management team, the new initiative will actively draw upon Lecca's experience and strength in the industry.

Steve Voorma, CEO of Kaddy Marketplace, said the new partnership fills him with confidence and excitement about the future.

"We have actively listened to the market and implemented a range of initiatives to enhance our offerings. With Lecca's expertise, support and funding we have significantly strengthened our market position.

"This collaboration, coupled with our simplified yet enhanced business model, will enable us to deliver an unparalleled market offering, setting the industry standard for both suppliers and buyers," he said.

Kaddy Reborn aims to be a disrupter in the alcohol wholesale and distribution market, giving customers access to a wider range of high-volume products at more competitive pricing, including globally recognised beers and spirits such as Corona, Budweiser, Peroni, Smirnoff, Absolut, Hendrick's, Grey Goose, Gordon's, Bombay Sapphire, Jim Beam and Jameson whisky.

Creating a one-stop-shop, the revamped entity will offer a "complete suite" of craft and fast-moving beverages, and soon, bottle shops and other retailers will be able to participate as suppliers on Marketplace to service on-premise customers.

Users can also choose to store goods in their own or third-party warehouses contracted by Kaddy Marketplace. Selected customers will also be entitled to one of the longest credit terms in the market of up to 60 days.

Coupled with improved and integrated customer relationship management and point-of-sale systems, Kaddy Reborn said customers can look forward to a positive and seamless experience from order to delivery with the highest reliability.
