In exactly one week, the doors to the Crystal Palace in Luna Park Sydney will be opened to drinks industry professionals from across the nation for the inaugural Drinks Industry Show, running on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 November.


This is the last week for trade professionals to pre-register for free entry into the show and avoid the queues at the door.


The show brings buyers and suppliers together under the one roof and into a neutral environment allowing them to discover, learn and engage with one another.


In its first year, the show has already seen very strong support from within the industry, partnering with Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA), official media partner Hip Media (publisher of drinks bulletin), Australian Bartenders Guild (ABG) and Luna Park Venues. Currently there are over 880 pre-registered visitors to the Show.


Visitors from bars, restaurants, cafes, catering companies, hotels, casinos and clubs will be able to sample and order from an exhibition floor full of suppliers showcasing the latest in wine, beer, cider, spirits and cocktails.


With the show days nearing, a number of late exhibitors have signed on to participate, including Sofi Spritz and Level Beverages - a company responsible for a range of brands, including 28 BLACK energy drink, AriZona Iced Tea, Sol Maté and illy-issimo Iced Coffee.


Complementing the exhibition is a series of free, entertaining and educational features on offer.


Visitors can enjoy free ‘explore Drinks’ master classes, seminars and the ABG Classic & Flair National Cocktail Competition that will show off the industry’s top personalities and their skills.


Four master classes on day one will allow visitors to dive into the world of beer, whiskey, Champagne and sparkling wine and drinks competitions with experts and brands from each category.


Three more speakers have recently joined the master classes on day one of the show. These include Mark Toomey - Brewery Director of Tooheys, Kate Moran - Jameson Brand Ambassador of Pernod Ricard and Mike Enright – owner of The Barbershop.


Additionally, five seminar sessions on day two will be hosted by some of the industry’s top figureheads. Speakers include Sandra Przibilla - CEO of the drinks association, John Green - Director of Liquor and Policing at Australian Hotels Association (AHA) NSW, John Hart - CEO of R&CA, Simon Ford - Managing Director of ShopperTracker and CEO of Ebiquity, Richard Basil-Jones.


Representatives from Taste Orange will also run a panel just after midday and concluding the show seminars for 2015, R&CA’s inaugural forum ‘The Business of On Premise Distribution: Drivers and Challenges’ will take place.


Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, as master classes and seminars cater for limited numbers on a first-come, first-served basis only.


Co-locating at the show is a sold-out Special Event: the drinks association Network Breakfast live at The Drinks Industry Show, which takes place on Tuesday morning.
