Little Creatures has reinvented its classic pilsner with a more distinctive taste. Inspired by the hoppier and bitter styles of the North German (Friesland) beers, the new pilsner is made with Pilsner malt and German Perle hops.

The release of the new brew has also seen Little Creatures hit refresh on its packaging, now resembling the original Creatures' design from its early days in Fremantle.

The new Pilsner has not been idle in the accolades scene either, having already received Champion Light Lager at the second annual Craft Beer Awards earlier this month.

Russ Gosling, Head Brewer at Little Creatures in Fremantle said: “We had a good discussion in the brewhouse around the pilsner and we all felt it was time to shake it up. We believe we’ve created what we call a creeper – where the bitterness in the beer creeps up on you to deliver uncompromising bitterness and intensity that’s still refreshing, balanced, dry and drinkable.”

The new Little Creatures Pilsner has an ABV of 4.6% and is already rolling out in kegs and bottles nationwide.

RRP $70 per case and $20.50 per six-pack, distributed by Lion - Beer, Spirits & Wine.
