2013 has been hailed as a “superb vintage” for the Central Ranges so check out the 2013 Logan - Weemala Shiraz Viognier
Using a blend of Mudgee and Orange grapes (split 70/30 for the technical amongst you), this wine has a floral nose and buckets of red and dark berries to follow it up. The palate is smooth as you might expect with this blend, but still carries through a well-balanced tannin structure to entice a match with a quality steak. Hungry.
