In an effort to streamline application and hiring processes for those involved in the hospitality industry, recruitment firm Red Dot has launched a new job site reserved exclusively for food and beverage professionals.

Tasty Jobs, a portal based site, allows businesses to post openings online through tastyjobs.com.au where they are visible to a number of potential applicants.

Jobs are organised by category - bar, floor, café, kitchen, fast food, hotel, management and gaming, as well as by location - capital cities and states.

During the site’s initial launch all advertisers are able to post jobs for free, while a pricing model will be rolled out in the future.

Once pricing is established, jobseekers applying for positions will never be subject to any cost, while advertisers will be able to opt for one of three options, depending on the number of roles they need to fill in a given year.

Tasty Jobs maintains that the overall goals however, are access and affordability.

“The three pricing options on TastyJobs are incredibly affordable, not only for high-volume advertisers such as hotel chains, but also for one-off advertisers, such as a local café or bar.

“TastyJobs is designed to make advertising jobs and reviewing applications fast, easy and very inexpensive.”

Beyond just providing visibility to roles, the site has employed a number of advancements to make reviewing applications more effective.

“Using TastyJobs, employers have a Flip Book that quickly and simply shows job applicants their resumes and cover letters all in an intuitive format and without filling your inbox full of resume junk.”
