Two Brisbane-based powerhouses, music band Sheppard and drinks business Margarita Margarita have collaborated to deliver The Good Time Guava Margarita Mix born from a desire to capture the euphoric feeling of dancing to your favourite song through a cocktail.

Thanks to the lockdown turning everyone into a home mixologist, home cocktail mixers are more popular than ever, and Margarita Margarita is a business dedicated to championing the Margarita. It has built a loyal following with its Brisbane fleet of mobile Margarita Bars and its growing range of Margarita Mixes.

Internationally acclaimed, Brisbane-based band Sheppard is renowned for its infectious tunes and chart-topping hits. With a distinctive blend of pop, indie, and alternative influences, siblings George, Amy and Emma Sheppard have captivated audiences worldwide.

The Good Time Guava Margarita Mix harnesses Margarita Margarita's expertise in delivering delicious margaritas with Sheppard’s musical prowess, resulting in a unique margarita mix that delivers a sensory experience and follows on from the band’s recent worldwide hit single ‘Good Time’.

Margarita Margarita's signature blend of lemon and premium ingredients is teamed with the luscious sweetness of guava to create the new drink.

The collaborators say Margarita Margarita X Sheppard Good Time Guava Margarita Mix is not just a drink; it's an experience.

Founder and director of Margarita Margarita, Jess Cheetham, said the Sheppard collaboration represented their shared passion for exceptional experiences and a commitment to excellence.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Sheppard on this exciting venture," said Cheetham.

“A good Margarita to us has always been one that makes you feel like you are on holiday, and The Good Time Guava Margarita Mix is an invitation to escape to a tropical paradise, no matter where you are,” she said.

"As a Brisbane band, we felt it would be the perfect collaboration to team up with Margarita Margarita and have this delicious mix manufactured and brought to life in our home city,” says bass player Emma Sheppard.

“Teaming up with Margarita Margarita to infuse our spirit, love for music and our personal history into a unique Margarita mix is an amazing opportunity.  We were inspired to create The Good Time Guava Margarita Mix after writing a song about drinking Margs on the coastline, and Margarita Margarita is the best brand to do that with,” said Amy Sheppard.

The limited edition Good Time Guava Margarita Mix will be available for purchase from August 1st on the Margarita Margarita website.
