In the off-premise, the brand is hosting sampling sessions throughout venues, as well as a consumer promotion, in which customers can enter to win one of three vintage bikes valued at AU$295 (each) with every purchase of Mateus.
Mateus – the number one table rosé wine in Australia - is hoping the program will drive increased awareness among 18-44 year old Australian females.
Off-premise venues will therefore also be provided with a ‘Retro Chic’ themed display, consisting of a wooden trestle table, picnic basket, Mateus cocktail recipe cards, chilled bottles of Mateus Rosé, sampling cups and an iPad so that consumers can enter the promotion in store. The brand is also hoping to feature the vintage bike at a number of venues.
In the on-premise, the brand will be supplying a similar Retro Chic display, while Brand Ambassadors will be handing out chilled samples of Mateus Rosé Original to customers. Customers in the on-premise will also receive a free cooler sleeve with each purchase of a bottle of Mateus (limited to 20 per venue).
