Matso's punchy ginger sundowners made for tropical nights

Matso’s Broome Brewery, home to Australia’s original alcoholic ginger beer, is turning down the lights and cranking up the vibe with two new drinks inspired by the original.

The new flavours, Matso’s Nightlife Alcoholic Ginger Beer and Matso’s Nightlife Alcoholic Ginger Beer with Rum and Lime, both come in at 6 per cent ABV. Matso’s Nightlife Alcoholic Ginger Beer delivers the refreshment and taste fans have come to love from our original ginger beer with a little more punch. While Matso’s Nightlife Alcoholic Ginger Beer with Rum and Lime is a refreshing twist on a classic.

Matso’s brand manager, Olivia Waters says, “Matso’s is proudly home to Australia’s original alcoholic ginger beer, and over the last 20 years we’ve loved taking that extraordinary flavour to fans right across the country.

“The Matso’s Nightlife range is 100% inspired by our original. We’ve taken that zesty, zingy and refreshing flavour that drinkers love, and given them a little extra with 6% ABV. There’s no hiding it, Matso’s Nightlife is the perfect match for when the sun goes down,” says Olivia.

Matso’s Nightlife comes as the ginger beer category continues to surge, growing at more than 50% and nearly seven times faster than the overall craft beer category.
