Newport Arms Hotel, located on the waterfront of Pittwater on Sydney’s Northern Beaches has long been recognised as a landmark among hotels, attractions and restaurants and is one of the biggest venues in Sydney. The venue comprises of a terrace restaurant, garden and bistro; its outdoor waterfront beer garden the biggest in Australia.
Newport Arms Hotel now joins Merivale’s growing portfolio of hotels, bars and restaurants across Sydney.

Last night’s acquisition follows Merivale’s acquisition of the beachside Eastern Suburbs venue, Coogee Pavilion. Merivale’s founder, John Hemmes also recently passed away, leaving Merivale with a portfolio of over 50 hospitality venues, which the family continues to grow today.
Merivale will officially and fully aquire Newport Arms Hotel in May, with further details and plans for the site to be announced by the group soon.
