Mighty Craft has announced that Mark Haysman has tendered his resignation as CEO and Managing Director effective on 3 July 2023 and as Director of the Company effective immediately.
Mr Haysman said: "Mighty Craft has made significant progress on its expansion and diversification strategy over the past few years. This has left the Company well-placed to become a leading player in the beer and premium spirits markets.
"This has been a very hard decision for me but it feels like the appropriate time to allow the Board to guide the Company through its next phase," he said.
The announcement comes just one month after Mighty Craft completed a "board renewal" process, resulting in the appointment of Chris Malcolm to the Board of Directors as Non-Executive Chair.
At the time, Haysman said: "Bringing considerable leadership qualities to the Board –via extensive industry and chair experience–Chris's appointment reflects a significant alignment to value creation for all MCL shareholders.
"His deep understanding of the Company already, not to mention continued and meaningful investment as a shareholder, will result in a smooth and expedited transition period. We eagerly anticipate Chris's leadership and future contributions," he said.
Newly appointed Non-Executive Chairman Chris Malcolm said: "On behalf of the Board of Mighty Craft, I would like to wish Mark well in his future endeavours."
Malcolm's appointment came just after the previous appointment of Katie McNamara and Trevor O'Hoy as Non-Executive Directors in April. The Board has appointed Jess Lyons as Acting Chief Executive Officer.
