The newest brewery to join the Adelaide scene - Big Shed Brewing Concern (BSBC) officially launched last Friday, March 20.

Co-founded last year by Jason Harris and Craig Basford, BSBC is now officially open for business. BSBC will be producing a number of homemade, speciality craft beers and sparkling ciders, and already has a portfolio of six beers.

The portfolio includes the alternatively named Frankenbrown Ale - the first official brewery to christen the opening of their brewery, which was also awarded 2014 Bronze Medal Winner at the Craft Beer Awards, as well as the brewery’s most popular F-Yeah and Cherry Popper brews.

“It’s out mission to create unique craft beers than not only posses superb flavouring, but are also carefully handmade with the finest local ingredients”, Harris said.

BSBC’s brewery is located in Royal Park and the premise is available to other companiess to use its brewing facilities or to be hired out as a function space. While on Fridays and Saturdays BSBC transforms from a brewery into a bar, with doors open to the public to sample their portfolio now available on tap.

BSBC’s brewer, Rob Hunt said commenting on the launch: “I am excited to perfect Big Shed’s core range, but also cannot wait to introduce further new offerings that will hopefully convert more willing members to the craft beer movement.”

BSBC will be distributing themselves.
