Two new Australian producers have joined House of Fine Wine distribution. Levantine Hill and Soul Growers will be distributed by House of Fine Wine from 1 September.
David Bird, Managing Director House of Fine Wine said, “We are proud to welcome Levantine Hill and Soul Growers into the House of Fine Wine portfolio. Two forward-thinking and highly regarded brands from two of Australia’s most acclaimed wine regions. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership, working together to build national distribution and add value to our loyal customers throughout Australia.”
Levantine Hill is located in Victoria’s Yarra Valley and is famous both for the award winning architecture of its $20 million winery in Coldstream and the $800 price tag for its 2017 Optume Shiraz and 2017 Optume Cabernet Sauvignon - Victoria's most expensive bottles of new release wine released in March.
House of Fine Wine says that Levantine Hills' wines "are handcrafted without compromise by renowned Australian winemaker Paul Bridgeman".
Soul Growers was founded by Paul Heinicke, Stuart Bourne (winemaker, ex Château Tanunda) Tom Fotheringham (sales and marketing, ex Penfolds), described as "three proud Barossans who saw the opportunity to join forces and chase their dream of creating wines that reflect their view of the region".
Soul Growers' wines emphasise the regional and varietal flavours of their beloved Barossa Valley, making Uncomplicated, handmade and lovingly nurtured wines that revolve around the very core of the Barossa Valley: the growers.
According to Soul Growers: "We see the grape growers of the Barossa Valley as being the very soul of the region, hence our brand. Our goal is to let the vineyards we work with show through in our wines. Where nature provides, we only guide. With this in mind we strive to make sure Soul Growers wines emphasise the regional and varietal flavours of our beloved Barossa Valley."
The latest additions to House of Fine Wine join its current portfolio of Champagne Bollinger, Champagne Ayala, Delamain, Villa Maria, Esk Valley, Leftfield and Vidal Estate.
