New Zealand born and bred, Jack Glover could finally make the trip across the Tasman late last year take up his seat as Accolades' Regional Marketing Director for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. He had been appointed to and working in the role in March 2020 but, you know, pandemic.

Of his plans for the year ahead, Jack said: "Strategically, we are aiming to boldly accelerate our premium ranges, grow our sparkling category and continue partnering with our customers to be at the forefront of innovation and consumer trends.

"We also have some fresh faces and strategic hires within the ANZ team to help achieve these goals including Meredith Lewis-Jones as Head of Digital Marketing ANZ (pictured below right) and Aideen McDonald as Accolade Wines Head of Internal & External Communications (pictured below left).

Growing up on his family’s vineyard in Marlborough paved the way for Glover to pursue a Bachelor of Wine Marketing at the University of Adelaide.

Following cellar vintages in Marlborough and the Napa Valle, Glover spent the next five years as National On-Premise Manager for Pernod Ricard, New Zealand, managing one of the largest sales forces in New Zealand’s liquor industry and executing the strategic growth of luxury brands such as Mumm Champagne, Perrier Jouet, Chivas Regal and The Glenlivet.

In 2011, Glover joined the Mud House Wine Group as Sales and Marketing Director, working there for three years before the business was acquired by Accolade.

Glover was promoted to the role of General Manager, Accolade New Zealand in 2016. He’s been a Wine Marlborough board member since 2014 and was a committee member for the International Sauvignon Blanc Celebration in 2019.
