Stuck at home under COVID-19 self isolation? There's a new beer for that ... and a grenache ... and an alcoholic seltzer ... and a limited edition whisky collection ...
As the popularity of grenache grows in Australia, Taylors Wines has crafted Jaraman Grenache 2018 to join the family’s Jaraman collection.
The wine brings together the ripe juicy fruit characters of McLaren Vale with the richly textured backbone of Barossa Valley.
The total grenache category is worth $11 million in Australia alone, and has the second largest value percentage growth of all varieties, red and white, at 28% (with tempranillo the first at 32%).
Jaraman Grenache is available at most good wine retailers, Taylors Clare Valley cellar door and online at www.taylorswines.com.au.

Furphy has launched its second beer, Furphy Crisp Lager. The easy-drinking beer will be exclusively available on tap in Geelong from March 16, before rolling out Victoria-wide in mid-May.
Head Brewer at Little Creatures Geelong Warren Pawsey said creating Furphy Crisp Lager was about staying true to the brand’s roots, while appealing to a wider audience of easy-drinking beer lovers.
“In developing a lager from Furphy we wanted to make sure that it had the great quality and brewing credentials the brand is known for, while still being super refreshing and highly drinkable,” he said. “We think we’ve created a cracking lager – it’s light, crisp and offers ultimate refreshment.”
Those wanting to try Furphy Crisp Lager can do so at pubs across the Geelong region including Little Creatures Brewery, The Edge, City Quarter, West End and The Inn.
