In collaboration with leading international spirits companies, Spirits Platform will now manage premium brands including Cointreau, Tia Maria, Licor 43, Rémy Martin, Louis XIII, Disaronno, Mount Gay Rum, Metaxa, Sierra Tequila, Chartreuse, Opal Nera and Gin Mare.
Spirits Platform will commence trading on Monday 3 August, leaving availability of all SKUs uninterrupted.
“We are pleased to launch with such an incredible brand portfolio and look forward to delivering fully-integrated, multi-channel programs to support these brands alongside our trade partners", says David Moore, Director at Spirits Platform.
Spirits Platform’s initial charge will be on the premiumisation of the market and providing the focus required for these, and other, independent brands to grow further within Australia.
In a discussion with drinks bulletin, Moore clarified that the business itself will operate nationwide on a third-party distribution model, with a head-office in Sydney and a fully experienced sales team. From 3 August, Spirits Platform will begin setting up customer accounts, trading and expediting the continued distribution of these brands seamlessly.
Moore also revealed that a key point of difference for the company will be an increased digital focus with an aim to facilitate communication and information sharing through an easily accessible platform.
Structural details on how the company plans to go to market will follow in early August.
