Premium drinks distributor, Noble Spirits, has taken over the distribution of Merlet & Fils products from Vanguard Luxury Brands.
Producing some of the finest and most popular liqueurs on the international market, Merlet & Fils' cognac is in the top eight best-selling cognacs globally, according to Drinks International.
The family-owned and operated business has belonged to the Merlet family since 1850 and is based in France's scenic Cognac region.
The current generation operates their own vineyards and distillery, meaning Gilles Merlet and his two sons, Luc and Pierre, who run the company, have complete control of their supply, distillation, ageing, blending and bottling process.
Having farmed their own blackcurrants for many years, strong ties to the local farming community means the Merlets are able to source the very best fruit for the many liqueurs they produce, including strawberry, raspberry and peach liqueurs.
Grégoire Bertaud, Managing Director at Noble Spirits, said being chosen by Merlet & Fils as their Australian supplier is an honour, and he looks forward to a successful partnership between the two companies.
