Last week, Paramount Liquor hosted its third annual conference in Port Douglas. For 2024, the conference followed the central theme of growth, with the supplier looking to continue its ongoing strong momentum that has seen it more than double its revenue since 2020.

One of the new strategies announced at the event is Paramount Liquor’s exclusive partnership with EzTenda, a digital tendering platform. This will connect Paramount’s 10,000 active customers directly with suppliers, allowing brands to secure long term distribution in return for targeted support that activates great brands in Australia's best venues.

“Paramount Liquor is dedicated to providing our customers with unparalleled service and the broadest range of products," said Nathan Rowe, Director.

"This partnership with EzTenda enhances our offerings, equipping venues with the flexibility and tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive market.”

EzTenda's General Manager ANZ added: “Partnering with Paramount Liquor allows us to rapidly scale our platform, offering greater value and efficiency to venues and brands throughout Australia.”

Also announced at the annual conference were Paramount Liquor’s supplier of the year award winners. Highlights from the 20 awards include:

  • Supplier of the Year: Bacardi
  • Most Improved Supplier: Moet Hennessy
  • Supplier Account Manager of the Year: Ben Vidaic, CUB
  • Fastest Growing Supplier: Campari

After its successful debut in 2023, Paramount Liquor brought back Paramount Liquor Confidential, which granted all attendees the opportunity to submit anonymous questions to Director’s Nathan and Leigh Rowe, and Matthew Jeffrey, Chief Operations Officer.

Finally, last week’s conference also featured presentations from keynote mindset speaker Alex Moffat and seasoned strategist Hayley Rose, along with a panel discussion hosted by Paramount Liquor’s Supplier Relationship Executive Glynn Gray. As part of this panel, Matthew Opai from Icebergs, Duncan Thomson from The Continental Sorrento, and Luke Redington from Momento Hospitality discussed how wholesalers and suppliers can add value to on-premise businesses beyond price.
