The world's number one super-premium tequila brand, Patrón joins forces with French glass masters Lalique to create an exclusive $11,000 release.
Bringing together Mexico's mastery of artisanal tequila and France's crystal glass expertise, Patrón en Lalique: Serie 3 celebrates the Weber Blue Agave on the inside and out.
Created at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico, by Master Distiller David Rodriguez and his team, Patrón en Lalique: Serie 3 is a blend of 14 different tequilas, each aged for up to eight years in French and American oak barrels before being combined to create an exceptionally rare extra Añejo tequila.
"Our familia of talented craftsmen are constantly experimenting to create bold innovations that stay true to the Patrón commitment to handcrafted perfection. We explored many combinations of extra Añejo tequilas before landing on the liquid excellence that can be found in Patrón en Lalique: Serie 3," he said.
Marc Larminaux, Lalique's Artistic and Creative Director, created and hand-signed the unique glass decanter. He said the collaboration represents both brands' devotion to handcrafted details and tireless dedication to perfection.
Sander Janmaat, Marketing Manager at Patrón Tequila, said: "We are thrilled to see this exclusive tequila come to the Australian market. Lalique and Patrón both share an unwavering commitment to creating the absolute best handcrafted products in the world.
"It's exciting to have a limited-edition product that marries these two crafts and celebrates the natural and raw materials that go into every drop of our Patrón Tequila."
With only 299 bottles available worldwide, three bottles of the exclusive release will be available to purchase exclusively at Dan Murphy's newly-opened Martin Place Cellar for a whopping $11,000 RRP.
All other tequila super-fans will have an opportunity to enjoy this luxury tequila at Bar Patrón in Sydney, with two bottles available to purchase by the glass, along with the previous iterations, Patrón en Lalique: Serie 1 and Patrón en Lalique: Serie 2, available now.
