Pepperjack’s new Made For Food campaign dives back into a nostalgic world of food and wine pairings, showing that, despite the changing in food trends, Pepperjack has been the wine for all dishes – whether that is elevating mid-week dinners or turning every meal into a gourmet feast – since it first hit the dinner table in 1996.
Drinks Trade reached out to the Pepperjack brand team to ask what foods they recommend pairing with each of the wines in the Pepperjack portfolio. This is what they suggested:
- Sparking Chardonnay Pinot: oysters or prawns or grilled halloumi
- Sparkling Shiraz: pavlova with fresh whipped cream and red berries or a rich chocolate self-saucing pudding.

- Grenache: Charcuterie board Bao buns
- Tempranillo: beef empanadas or grilled Chorizo
- Pinot Noir: salmon or pulled pork sliders
- Graded McLaren Vale Shiraz: scotch Fillet or Cheese Board
- Graded Langhorne Creek Shiraz: porterhouse or roast beef on sourdough
- Certified Shiraz Cab: cheese board
- Certified Shiraz: antipasto plate or Raspberry Brownies
- Premium Cut Cabernet Shiraz - crumbed lamb cutlets
- Rare Find Shiraz: cheese board and charcuterie – Braised Beef Cheek.
- Rare Find Cabernet Sauvignon: Slow cooked Lamb or Pork
- Malbec: Chorizo and char-grilled Flank steak.
- Red Blend: Duck spring rolls
