This year will see 18,500 employees around the world partner with local not-for-profit organisations, with a focus on building and renovating living spaces for the benefit of those in need. Pernod Ricard’s objective will be to provide local communities with places for meeting, talking and sharing with one another.
In Australia, Food-rescue charity OzHarvest will be leading teams across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Their campaign Cooking for a Cause will be looking to generate 50,000 meals for people in need. Teams will also work to renovate shelters with furniture and fresh paint, hoping to create a more homely environment for visitors.
Barossa Council will also be leading teams in Adelaide and Barossa Valley to rejuvenate community spaces such as local parks and centres.
The initiative certainly embodies Pernod Ricard’s global vision of being ‘Créateurs de Convivialité’ (Creators of Conviviality). Kate Thompson, Director of Legal, Communications and Corporate Affairs stated, “Responsib’All day is a fantastic way for our teams to get out of the office and take some time to give back to the communities we live, work and do business in.”
Responsib'All Day will be held June 2nd globally, with 85 affiliate companies taking part in over 100 projects.
