Headline Acts' new industry rewards program, Headline Access, has kicked off this week. In partnership with Muso, Headline Access aims to nurture the careers of independent Australian artists while providing unrivalled money-can’t-buy experiences for the fans that support them

“Headline Acts is a wine for the musically minded, which is why we feel so passionately about supporting budding musicians. The exposure and experience of Headline Access is truly priceless, and we can’t wait to see these up-and-coming artists shine,” says Eric Thomson, Global Marketing Director, Pernod Ricard Winemakers, producer of Headline Acts.

The Release Cycle is the first iteration of the industry fund and one emerging artist will have the opportunity to gain invaluable mentorship from some of Australia’s biggest music industry names, including Johann Ponniah (I OH YOU Records), Johnny Took (DMA’S) and Sosefina Fuamoli (music journalist). The artist will win the support to record, distribute and promote their new single to the world.

“I’m really excited to be involved with Headline Access. To me it feels like a unique opportunity to instigate real progress for an artist and I’m looking forward to sussing out all the new music,” says Johann Ponniah, I OH YOU Records.

Committed to supporting the emerging headliners of the future, Headline Access is intended to be a ongoing and usable tool for artists. Those who sign up to the live music platform Muso before 26 June will be in the running to be picked by Headline Acts’ panel of industry experts to win.

The winner will win private studio time with the DMA’S Johnny Took, before founder of I OH YOU record label and artist manager, Johann Ponniah, takes the winner through a one-on-one session of how to get started in the music industry. Winner of the 2020 Live Music Journalist award and 3RRR radio host, Sosefina Fuamoli, will talk the artist through how to get media coverage. Headline Acts and Muso will take the artist centre stage, booking the launch tour to promote their first single.

Headline Acts comes in four varieties: Rosé Bubbles, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, and Shiraz, all to be enjoyed with great tunes. On every bottle you’ll find music inspired artwork, with a curated Spotify playlist - fiercely debated and finally agreed upon by musos, DJs, and vinyl junkies alike.

As the official wine partner of two of Australia’s largest festivals, Bluesfest and Splendour in the Grass, Headline Acts pairs perfectly with live music.
