The QT Melbourne has officially announced the date for its much-anticipated opening. September 5th will see the Russell Street hotel open as Melbourne’s chic new designer landmark.

Acclaimed architect Angelo Candapelas has designed the 1920s industrial inspired building, presenting a harmonious balance between Melbourne’s heritage and its contemporary streetscape location. Design themes of handcrafted steel, stone and timber will compliment the eclectic interior spaces conceptualised by renowned interior designer Nic Graham and design expert Shelly Indyk.

In addition to 188 hotel rooms, the QT Melbourne will open numerous drinking and dining establishments, making it a destination for guests and locals alike. Nightlife highlights will include the Rooftop at QT that boasts expansive views overlooking the city’s skyline, and the new edgy laneway bar Hot Sauce.

No detail left unturned, from the building façade and bold design touches to music and lighting, the QT Melbourne joins an acclaimed family of Australian designer hotels, building on QT’s reputation for the bold, luxurious and quirky.

The QT Melbourne is located at 133 Russell Street in the heart of the CBD. For more information, head to www.qtmelbourne.com.
