Rekorderlig has made the decision to temporarily withdraw its Cocktail Cans after discovering an issue that compromises the quality of the product. Rekorderlig has asked all retailers to withdraw the Rekorderlig Cocktail Cans to ensure that no other consumer experience is affected by the defect. Rekorderlig will be replacing the stock.

A small manufacturing defect in the cans has resulted in some non-harmful, off-flavours being detected in some drinks Rekorderlig said. The product does not pose any health risk however.

"Rekorderlig has a reputation for quality and consumer experience, it is therefore of paramount importance to us that whilst this poses no health risk to consumers, we have made the decision to temporarily withdraw Rekorderlig Cocktail Cans from sale," said Henrik Dunge, CEO of brand owner, AB Abro Bryggeri.

Retailers are asked to withdraw the cans and wait for replacement stock.

No other Rekorderlig products are affected.

Trade should contact Rekorderlig's Australia distributor, Coca-Cola Amatil for more information.
