The forum is titled ‘The Business of On-Premise Distribution: Drivers and Challenges' and is designed to raise discussion around on-premise distribution and how industries can work together to better facilitate this. Further focus is put on the consumer experience and the value of enhancing this experience through local produce and wine.
Expert panel members will include Restaurant & Catering Australia, Destination NSW, NSW Wine Industry Association, Quay (Restaurant of the Year NSW Savour Australia HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence), Lion Nathan, a representative from the Orange wine region, plus the Winner of the NSW Wine List Awards (TBA).
Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) CEO, John Hart said the inaugural forum aims to spark a discussion on how industries can work together to better facilitate the consumer experience and the value of enhancing this through local produce and wine.
“It’s great to work with an event that gives the restaurant and wine industries a voice and helps businesses become more profitable and sustainable", Hart said.
The forum begins Tuesday 17 November at 4pm in the Ted Hopkins Room of the Crystal Palace, Luna Park.
Showcasing the best in beer, wine, spirits and cocktail mixology, the show reconnects producers and distributors of alcoholic beverages with buyers from bars, clubs, restaurants, hotels, liquor stores, catering companies and other related businesses.
