Ricciardo's primo red collaboration

Daniel Ricciardo’s latest release with Australian winery, St Hugo, Ric Red is Daniel Ricciardo’s ‘Secret Sauce’, an approachable red blend bursting with character and ready to be enjoyed whenever and wherever the moment calls for it.

“Ric Red is about taking the essence of DR3 and amping up the generosity and juiciness. Life is about connections, and Daniel is nothing if not a people person, so we wanted this wine to reflect the everyday occasions that we love to have with friends and where life happens,” said St Hugo Chief Winemaker Peter Munro.

Ric Red is plush, opulent, and generous. This bright and vibrant red blend is full of open and inviting fruit with a little hint of something more. Boasting aromas of raspberry, strawberry, and spiced plums, lifted with violets to entice and a slight hint of char to add to the intrigue of this drop. The fun, generous and lively fresh red fruits dance on the palate with softness and approachability. Fine tannins emerge slowly but are controlled by the plush vibrant cherry fruits that linger.
