Outgoing Feral Brewing Co. Managing Director, Rob Brajkovich, will join technology-driven Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab as CEO later this month.

The appointment comes on the heels of success for the Perth-based distillery, having won a Double Gold for their Ice Vodka and Silver for their Signature Gin at the prestigious San Francisco Spirit Awards earlier this year.

Brajkovich joins the team with a wealth of operational, sales, marketing and production scale-up experience and joins Banks and Bloom to drive national and international expansion.

Matt Callahan, Chairman at Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab, said he’s excited to welcome someone with Brajkovich’s experience to the company as it enters a growth stage.

“We are very excited to welcome Rob to the team, which has achieved so much in the last six months with awards from the world’s most prestigious competition for our vodka and gin, as well as the launch of our new RTD range.

Rob’s experience in rapidly scaling beverage companies and expanding the range and profitability of product lines is perfectly suited to the next stage of growth for Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab,” he said.

Brajkovich said that after meeting his future team, the Banks and Bloom board and sampling the current range, he’s excited to join the award-winning company.

“I’m extremely excited to work with them on bringing Banks and Bloom’s unique technology-driven beverages to both the Australian and international markets.

“The unique flavours and distillation techniques the team are incorporating into their products will position Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab to transform their respective categories, as already reflected in their growing list of awards,” he said.

Banks and Bloom plan a series of new releases over the coming months that will benefit from Brajkovich’s strong FMCG and drinks trade experience at various corporations, including Coca-Cola Amatil, Asahi Beverages, Campbell Arnotts and Johnson & Johnson.
