Two of the Australian wine industry’s leading wine competitions – the Rutherglen Wine Show and the Australian Fortified Wine Show - are returning to the wine show circuit with a full programme including the much-anticipated public events.
Chris Pfeiffer, Partner at Pfeiffer Wines and Chairman of the Wine Show Committee said, "We’re thrilled to see both shows return to full health. It’s a much-loved part of the Australian wine show circuit and we look forward to welcoming our judges, as well as wine lovers back to Rutherglen. It’s an exciting time for the region. There’s a real buzz around Rutherglen that’s been building over the past few years."
Morris of Rutherglen is now producing its own whisky to great acclaim and family-owned winery, All Saints Estate won the Museum Muscat NV Trophy at the IWSC this year as well as being awarded a perfect score in the 2022 Halliday Wine Companion.
"There’s a real spirit of innovation, with winemakers experimenting with on-trend and emerging grape varieties and styles, building on our 160 years of winemaking heritage, and forging new paths. We can’t wait to share this with our esteemed judging panel, and of course our loyal consumers."
The Rutherglen Wine Show, and the Australian Fortified Wine Shows return to their original format, including the shows' highlights: the Presentation Dinner and Public Tasting.
