Déjà vu Sake Co. is currently taking orders for Japan's popular seasonal product, Namazake, in Australia. Only available for a limited time each year, Déjà vu Sake Co. is using refrigerated air freight to import fresh Namazake from five of Japan's top sake breweries to Sydney restaurants, with stock arriving at the end of August.

Namazake is a unique, unpasteurised style of sake that is traditionally enjoyed in spring - at the end of the sake brewing season. Due to its natural state, Namazake should be treated like a dairy product. Whilst refrigerated, Namazake can last for up to around six months.

Déjà vu Sake Co. is offering six bottles of each of the five nama products, with each set therefore containing 30 bottles of the beverage. The producers include Amanoto, Dewazakura, Houraisen, Tengumai and Yoshinogawa.

Yukino Ochiai, Director of Déjà vu Sake Co. and Australia's only Level 3 Sake educator, is also offering staff training for participating venues to help educate and promote these limited bottlings of nama, including creating a namazake flight, so that consumers can enjoy all five of the breweries' house styles.

Participating venues so far include Cho Cho San, Goros, Sake Restaurant The Rocks, Sushi-E, Est., Tetsuya's, Toko in Surry Hills, Sokyo and Yayoi, among others.
