Leading recruitment consultancy for the Australian alcohol industry, Mondo Search, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales driver.

The client is a dynamic Australian Wine Company that is highly entrepreneurial and has big aspirations for further growth. They are a company that from its inception has "punched above its weight".  Export today is more than 80% of its total turnover.
  
The company has a team of highly respected and talented people across sales, marketing and wine making and they now seek the very best person to take charge of their domestic sales. Someone who has the ability to think outside the box and always thirsts for new revenue schemes and inclusive ways to manage a sales team to deliver results.

They now need a talented Key Account Manager responsible mostly for direct customers based in Sydney and Melbourne and the distributors in Western and Southern Australia.  He/she will also be tasked with developing the sales strategy for Queensland.
  
The successful applicant will be a talented and highly experienced sales driver in the Australian wine industry with an extensive network of retail customers in both off-premise and on premise. Experience in dealing with independent buying groups and large chains will also be well regarded.
  
Ideal requirements include:

• A proven Key Accounts sales background and sales team management in wine or related beverage/industry
• Ability to work with a limited promotional spend and be hands on and resourceful
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an extremely good communicator
• Line management experience managing teams across multiple states
• Strong presentation skills for wine events, wine dinners and hosting guests
• Proven P&L responsibility
• An entrepreneurial flair, always seeking ways to identify new sales channels, new business opportunities and ways to grow the business.
• Highly cost conscious and able to work within designated budgets and a proven background in distribution management.
