Global spirits company, Stoli Group, hosted its Stand with Ukraine Gala Event at Canvas House, South Melbourne. The event raised funds for World Central Kitchen (WCK), a not-for-profit organisation serving nourishing meals to Ukrainians impacted by the war with Russia.

The dinner was the first global Stoli-run event, raising more than AUD$33,000 through limited edition bottle sales, cocktails, and a silent and live auction.

The brand’s mission is to donate USD$1million to WCK by Ukraine Independence Day on August 24th 2022, with 10% of this goal already achieved.

Since March 2022, Stoli has donated more than USD$100,000 to WCK, helping to serve 5,000,000 meals to Ukrainians in need.

Produced in Latvia and headquartered in Luxembourg, Stoli recently underwent a significant rebrand ending the Stolichnaya name as a direct response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The brand engages exclusively with Slovakian sources to further ensure 100% non-Russian Alpha grade spirit.

Stoli Group’s Vodka Category Leader & Global Innovation Leader, Tim Szonyi, said the Stand with Ukraine Gala Event was a huge success and set the benchmark for other world markets to follow suit.

“Here at Stoli Group, it's important for us to stand for something and make a difference in people's lives," he said.

"We were blown away by the support and generosity from our guests who helped bring us closer to our fundraising goal, and we look forward to continuing to provide much-needed funds to World Central Kitchen, who are working tirelessly during this challenging time."
