Sydney Wine Academy Holds Annual WSET Diploma Graduation

Sydney Wine Academy held their 5^th annual WSET Diploma Graduation on Tuesday 13^th of June. Jude Mullins, international marketing director for WSET, bestowed the 10 graduates with their WSET Diploma in Wine and Spirits before an audience of over 40 people. 

Michael Anderson, graduate and senior copywriter for Laithwaite’s Wine People, Australia, was presented with the KPMG Sydney Royal Wine Show Certificate of Excellence for achieving the top mark in the practical wine tasting examination.

The WSET Diploma in Wine and Spirits is a two year specialist level course that affords advanced knowledge in the field and develops participants’ skills in research and analysis. The diploma is seen as a pathway into the Master of Wines programme.

The Sydney Wine Academy offers a range of WSET courses, specialist courses on Australia, Italy, France and Greece and sommelier training. Courses are held in the Sydney CBD, Ryde and Canberra areas.
