Corryton Burge Martha Mae 2019
About: Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay, Tasmania
Our thoughts: “Pours bright and lively, with a pale straw hue and a fine, persistent bead. Nose is elegant and inviting, freshly baked brioche and citrus zest; floral white blossom and ripe orchard fruits (apple and pear) and almond. Palate balances crisp and vibrant acidity with rich, creamy mouthfeel. Green apple is followed by white peach and nectarine. Medium-bodied with a silky mousse. Finish is bright, and elegant with a refreshing minerality.”
Who’s it for: “Another strong Tasmanian sparkling option at a reasonable pricepoint. Part of a recent three-wine sparkling launch from the brand. Would pair great with oysters, fresh seafood, or delicate cheeses.”

Vasse Felix Filius Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2023
About: 71% Sauvignon Blanc, 29% Semillon, Margaret River
Our thoughts: “Pours pale straw with a slight greenish tint. Fresh and aromatic bouquet on the nose bursting with lime zest, grapefruit, and passionfruit notes. Leads into a crisp, lively, and refreshing palate with bright acidity. Lime up front, followed by layers of tropical fruit like gooseberry and passionfruit. The Semillon adds depth and texture. The finish is crisp with lingering citrus zest and a gentle herbaceous note.”
Who’s it for: “A great premium expression of a classic WA style. A wine that has a freshness still well-suited to summer, and yet with enough body and complexity to cater to consumers looking for a little bit more depth. Would pair well with grilled prawns, ceviche, or oysters.”
