Taylors Wines and Jacob’s Creek are finalists in the upcoming Golden Target Awards, both vying for Experiential Campaign of the Year.

The Golden Target Awards is the public relations industry’s longest running awards, showcasing quality and creative practice across 30 categories. A panel of leaders and industry sector experts assess entries in each category of the Golden Target Awards, selecting the winners, and highly commended entrants at both the State and National level.

Taylors won the National Award for the Experiential Campaign of the Year in 2018 for its 'Celsius – A Wine Temperature Experience' activation.

This year its 'A World-first Cellar Door at Sea' has been shortlisted, while Jacob's Creek is up for its 'Kitchen Collective' activation.

Taylors world-first floating cellar door showcased its innovative optimum drinking temperature sensors. It aimed to prove that popping a red wine in the fridge actually isn’t taboo, but necessary to achieving the perfect balance of flavour and aroma in your Shiraz or Pinots all year round.

The NSW winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 23, before the National Awards crown the national winner on Wednesday, November 13.

“It’s a great honour to be recognised for the second year running at the Golden Target Awards. Experiential campaigns like our world-first Cellar Door at Sea give us the opportunity to engage with wine lovers through unforgettable experiences," said Mitchell Taylor (below), Managing Director & Winemaker, Taylors Wines.
